    Located on the banks of Rajapuri creek, Murud is a popular beach destination famous for the unconquered sea fortress of Murud Janjira. Murud Janjira can be visited from Dighi about 20 kms from Diveagar. Sail boats are available from Dighi to Murud Janjira.

    Nestled at the southern most end of Raigad district, Harihareshwar has two beaches on either sides of the Harihareshwar temple. Harihareshwar is about 35 kms from Diveagar and a trip to Harihareshwar passes through Aaravi and Shrivardhan.

Sightseeing in Diveagar is not limited to the beaches in Raigad. Take a ferry ride across the Bhagmandala creek and you can visit the northern Ratnagiri beaches like Kelshi and Anjarle. You can also visit the famous kadyavarcha Ganpati temple if you ferry across the creek in your four wheeler.
